Easy $10 at the door at Mr. Ricks for a FULL evening of hot, live dance music! Here's how the evening goes:
8PM: All-Ages drum circle on the Promenade at the foot of Avila Pier! Bring a drum if you have one, or we'll have some extras, too! This will be a professionally guided experience & will be great!
10PM - FUNCTUS! This hard-edged hot funk power trio (not exaggerating!) has been playing for over 15 years, and only performs occasionally. They put out more sound than almost any other 3 players ever! Hot tip: DO NOT MISS FUNCTUS!
11:30 - ZONGO ALL-STARS! What could be better after warming up with some drums & some hot funk than to ring in 2012 dancing to your favorite Afro-Caribbean sounds! Please RSVP now, and let's start 2012 with a BANG!!!!
