1:00 PM / Doors open @ 12:00 PM Please note: All seating is General Admission. ********************************************** Central Coast favorites Moonshiner Collective, Girls & Boys, Captain Nasty, Zongo All-Stars, and The Kicks will play the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in celebration of the 33rd Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival on Sunday, May 17 at 1:00 p.m. The concert, presented by Vina Robles Entertainment and Big Big SLO, will also feature Samba Loca sets during intermissions. _______________________________ Moonshiner Collective is an Indie Rock, Folk and Americana based duo of multi-instrumentalist and singer Dan Curcio and drummer Ryan House. Often including a variety of talented collaborators, the eclectic array of folk rock instrumentation combines contemplative lyrics with a foot stomping, high energy, California beach town influenced sound. __________________ Girls & Boys’ heart pounding live performances have led them to play some of the top venues in California including the Bottle Rock Fest in Napa, Great American Music Hall, Mountain Winery in Saratoga, Vina Robles Amphitheatre, and The Sweetwater Music Hall to name a few. They are also the recipients of the Bay Area's Bohemian Best Indie Band Award in 2012. The band's members consist of Brianna Lee – Vocals, Guitar, Keys, Josh Barrett - Bass, Mark Tarlton - Drums, Nick Simmons - Guitar, and Ross Barbieri – Guitar, Vocals. _____________________ Captain Nasty is a 9-piece funk band hailing from the Central Coast of California. They strive to create music that incorporates the improvisational and intelligent elements of jazz with the booty shaking and party pumping rhythms of African and Latin music. The band consists of drum, electric bass, electric guitar, keyboard, percussion, alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, and lead female vocalist. _________________________ Currently voted Best Local Band in SLO County for two years in a row, Zongo All-Stars have been lighting up dance floors all over the Central Coast with a unique blend of Afro-Latin / Afro-Caribbean / Funk / Reggae / Calypso music they have dubbed "CaliCubano.". The sound starts with drums, congas, timbales, and other percussion with the addition of electric bass and guitar, as well as a strong horn section, featuring trumpet, alto, tenor, and bari saxes and flutes. _________________________ Led by front woman Reese Galido’s soulful and heart felt vocals, The Kicks have been bringing their unique progressive roots reggae sound and positive vibes to the Central Coast of California and beyond since 2003.
